Scientology's Disgusting Antics In Court

Yesterday, I attended the rape trial of celebrity Scientologist Danny Masterson.

As always, I attended to support the brave women who were raped by Danny and then later harassed, stalked, and attacked by Scientology.

Last week, Danny’s Scientology-controlled lawyers tried to get me thrown out of court based on the false premise that they were going to call me to testify later on.

Thankfully, the Judge rejected their attempt to have me booted.

Yesterday, once again, Shawn Holley, Danny Masterson's Scientology-controlled defense attorney, tried to make a spectacle about my presence in court and suggested that she would try and force me to testify.

Imagine how weak Danny's case is that his defense attorney (one of several controlled by David Miscavige) has to go to these lengths. I did not know the women who were raped by Danny when they were raped; anything of interest in a criminal trial is not information I can provide as a witness. Shawn Holley, Phillip Cohen, and the rest of Danny's defense team just want to take the focus off their client, who has been charged with forcibly raping multiple women, and put it on me.

These pathetic attempts are all a classic trick of Scientological misdirection.

Also in court yesterday was Reverend N.J. “Skip” L'Heureux. You'd think Skip was just a mild-mannered Christian reverend if you didn't know better.

But the truth is he is an agent of Scientology. For decades, Scientology has tried to wrap itself in the cloak of religion to gain legitimacy, and one of the ways it does that is by enlisting people like Reverend Skip to try and make Scientology seem like a legitimate religion.

For over 20 years, Skip has helped to normalize this evil totalitarian Cult by appearing at its behest in Germany, Washington DC, and yesterday in court.

Skip admitted to Shawn Holley that he was there at Scientology's behest. But when we raised concerns about his presence, fearing that he was there to intimidate survivors and witnesses, he told the judge he had no association with Scientology.

That is a lie. Skip lied to the Judge in open court.

Here’s one of many examples of how closely Skip is associated with Scientology. In 2019, a letter with Skip’s signature was sent to Disney CEO Bob Iger. In the letter, which is filled with lies, he demands that Disney, which co-owns the A&E Network, stop supporting my Emmy award-winning documentary series “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.”

The letter is not only on the letterhead of Scientology’s propaganda organization and posted on its website, but the address of Scientology’s management office is also at the foot of the letter. They’re not even trying to hide it!

I heard that Skip promised an interview to a reporter at a legitimate news organization, but when it came to do that interview, Skip had fled the court. He couldn't handle the scrutiny.

Everything in Scientology is about infiltration; Scientology policy requires Scientology to infiltrate legitimate institutions to help Scientology and protect it as an organization.

Here's another example from yesterday, Meet Scientologist Eva Mahoney.

You may recognize Eva from my Twitter mentions where she repeatedly uses her account to attack me and other whistleblowers, survivors, and advocates. Eva was posing as a journalist yesterday in court. But, again, if someone didn't know better, they'd believe she was there to be a reporter on behalf of a news organization.

But Eva was there on behalf of STAND, a Scientology front group that serves as a critical source of Scientology propaganda.

Scientology has repeatedly said that it has nothing to do with this trial and has attacked anyone who has accurately suggested that it is involved in it.

For an organization that has nothing to do with this trial, they're spending an awful amount of time present in the courtroom. From sending their propaganda writers like Eva to having their agents like Reverend Skip show up, and let's not forget every single day, Scientology's lawyers are present in court.

Chief among them: Vicki Podberesky.

Vicki was caught trying to intimidate and distract Jane Doe #1 in court on Friday. God knows what she and David Miscavige have up their sleeves.
