I love this post. I have followed Leah and Mike ever since they started their work to expose scientology. And I have also watched those ex-scientologist who think YouTube is their new income source, more focused on a following than exposure of a cult.

To Leah, odds of you reading this is low....but if you ever do, know that there are those that truly appreciated real insight that you and Mike exposed....and recognized....the money making hacks of others on YouTube which equate to a modern hucksters of Jim and Tammy Baker of the 80s.

To mike....I will happily click on the link to donate to his son's college.

I only hope one day soon his other children will realize just how awesome their dad truly was.

A reminder to everyone that came to mind early in Leah’s message when she described the narrative & effort to hurt Mike after he escaped…

No religion, organization, or otherwise is worthy of your time and needs (esp during your darkest hours) if that representative group teaches you to hate existing members, former members, or others.

That includes persons elected to government offices, local through to federal who teach hate such as trump & musk do regularly.

That disposition is blatantly contradictory to humanity. Humanity was shown by Mike Rinder’s instinctive goodness.

There is no time for that narrative and effort when there is always the need to help people, the animal kingdom, and the environment we all call home.

You'd be surprised! She's answered me on twitter before! During the peak of the show. She's very social and not one to ignore people. However she may be very busy with all that's happening in LA.

“What struck me most was that this compassion, this humanity, was so innately a part of Mike. It wasn’t taught to him by Scientology or his parents, nor was it shown to him in his life of abuse within Scientology. It was simply Mike—the person Scientology couldn’t destroy.”

Full body chills reading that. The person Scientology couldn’t destroy 🥹🥹🥹🥹

To the ex-scientologists who know what they're doing, I smirked at Leah's shoutout to you. Her and Mike's spirit will always get their justice.

I'm so confused. Are there people that were able to leave the cult, and they are speaking ill of Mike? Of his work? it doesn't make sense to me. Why would they do that?

While others who were at higher levels of Scientology who left accepted millions to stay quiet, Mike chose to be a lightning rod for Scientology to go after. Unfortunately, it also made him a lightning rod for those who had been abused while in Scientology to scapegoat. He was accessible to them, while those still in or who took payouts weren’t. Going after him also created controversy that got views on YouTube, which created an abusive feeding frenzy for too many channels. Don’t want to go into all the sordid details.

Mirriam’s questions to Mike were accusations with no evidence to support them under the guise of questions.

Anyone who watched or listened to you and Mike interacting on camera or on recording could see the connection you had and the absolute love you had for each other. I am merely a fan of Mike and I feel so sad. I am so sorry for this immeasurable loss you are facing as one of his chosen family. The world has lost a great man.

I remember watching Mike on Aftermath that first year. I shared on the site, before YouTube, that I respected him so much and hoped he had given himself forgiveness. One of his friends, can’t remember who, answered me and said he was doing great, happy and was always working on himself but mostly to expose Scientology. Both of you are in my heart along with Christie and the boys. Take care Leah.❤️

Why would I want to watch aaron? He's an arrogant, pompous grifter who's on his way down...especially after Jenna exposed him for who he really is.

I’ve been following you and Mike since 2016/17. I have tremendous respect for you both. I cannot tell you how happy I am that you addressed “those people” who have profited off what you and Mike started. Their callousness, money seeking and narcissism has been appalling!

I had the pleasure of briefly speaking to Mike back in 2019 and he could not have been more kind, professional, insightful, and humorous!

What I always enjoyed about listening to your clan (you, Mike, The Headleys, etc.) was the authenticity of the group and the ability to share very HONEST stories. You all approached your mission with integrity! Additionally, for having very little formal education, I found Mike to be one of the most intelligent and well spoken individuals I’ve ever known.

I am incredibly sorry for your profound loss! There truly are no words to adequately express the degree of condolences necessary to address your pain. Please know that we are all thinking of you with great empathy. In your own time, keep fighting the fight! Mike would want nothing less.

With great sympathy,

Marybeth

Always… #teammike 💙

Oh Leah, so very touching. It was beautiful that you could spend time with him during his last days. What a very inspiring man and the work you have done together to expose Scientology and its teachings despite any roadblocks that came your way. Rest in peace Mike and take it one day at a time Leah, I know you will continue to do Mikes work and make him proud

So sorry for your loss. He did so much to expose Scientology. I went to an online “counseling” group advertised on a social media website and immediately recognized I was in a Scientology group and needed to get out of it, I’m so glad I knew the warning signs and the things I learned about Scientology from you and Mike. I am so saddened to hear of his passing and send you my deepest condolences.
